About Baxter

Baxter is approximately 5-6 years old. This handsome boy was abandoned by his previous family. Baxter is a happy, friendly, and energetic fella who enjoys having a big yard to play in and friends to play with. He loves attention, headscratches, and belly rubs. He is great around adults, children, and most other dogs - though he doesn't get along well with unaltered male dogs. Baxter is housebroken, crate-trained, up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. INFORMATIONAL NOTE: Effective February 24, 2020; it is MANDATORY to do a meet and greet at A & B Animal Rescue of SW Arkansas, PRIOR to submitting an application to adopt one of our animals. NO EXCEPTIONS. We can not attest to Baxter with children ie, babies, toddlers, and children under the age of 13. We do NOT know how he will behave with handicapped or mentally challenged children or adults. We also, can NOT certify Baxter as a Service Animal. That can only be done by a certified, licensed, doctor/trainer.
