About Venus

Venus is a ten-year-old Chihuahua Mix looking for her forever home. If you are looking for an older dog (that still believes she is two) to add to your family, Venus is your girl. This girl acts so young that I believe she will live forever!! Venus came to us from the county shelter after she was hit by a car. Her hip was dislocated, and has since been repaired. She is so playful that you wouldn't even know that she had an injury. When Venus showed up at the shelter, she had a microchip. I asked the shelter to contact the family to see if they wanted her but just couldn't afford her medical. We were told that Venus was their mother's dog, their mother died and that they didn't want the dog back. Luckily, she ended up with us. Venus is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, fully vetted (valley fever, tick fever and heartworm negative), microchipped and licensed in Maricopa County. Venus is big and little dog friendly, and loves people of all sizes. She is also feline friendly. She is a very, very fun little girl. She is also very smart.
