Holden is a 7 month old male. My wife and I rescued him when he was just under 2 months old. He is truly a wonderful and loving dog; however, given his temperament he requires plenty of exercise. We are unable to provide him with a healthy amount of activity due to housing and lifestyle constraints. Due to recent and unforeseen financial stressors, my wife and I are no longer able to bring him to doggy daycare. Because of this, we are looking to find Holden a home where he will be able to run and play, ideally a home with a fenced in yard and with a family who lives an active lifestyle. Holden is house broken and crate trained. He is neutered, in very good health, microchipped, and is up-to-date on his vaccines. He has a healthy appetite, goes potty regularly, and LOVES to play. My wife and I have a 4 year old border collie/lab mix, and they get along wonderfully. However, part of our issue is that our border collie/lab has very sensitive knee joints and is unable to keep up with Holden's play. Although he is not aggressive, I would be somewhat worried about him being around very small children or smaller dogs given his strength and level of energy. Giving him up is going to be very difficult for us as we have grown incredibly attached to Holden, but my wife and I ultimately want him to live a happy and fulfilling life. If you, or anyone you know, would be interested in adopting or fostering Holden, please contact me!!!
