About Abby

Happy, loving, playful, when not scared. Lots of things are fearful to Abby. Sudden noises and movements around her, vehicles especially truck noises, thunder, fireworks, has low thyroid condition but under perfect control with pills that are relatively cheap. Has not been in abusive home, the whole litter was rescued and she was re-homed to us 5 years ago when she was 1 1/2 years old approx. My husband now has Alzheimer's and we are needing to re-home Abby. We HATE to do this but it is necessary. She is a great house dog and loves to snuggle. For being a fearful dog she still has a side of her that likes to be bossy to other dogs. She gets along great with dogs who are not bossy and some females. I would get her shots up to date if someone is wanting that to happen before being adopted. She is not a good traveling dog because she is so fearful of vehicles. She also hates having her nails trimmed.
