Not a work dog. Please excuse the breed noted; There was no option for his Akbash-Maremma. He is a gentle boy whose sister likes to work- but not him. Although he much enjoyed playing with his sis. He wants to be a family dog. He does need a secure yard as he can clear a 5 foot fence; He doesn't go far, he looks for people! He want to be with people so badly. Right now he is on a chain. although he appears to get along with most dogs- he seems to prefer dogs a bit smaller than he and adores frolicking with the farm buddies when he is allowed off chain. Right now, his visiting caregiver takes him on walks and to play; Our hearts hurt that he is on a chain. - He wants to be a kept young man- to play with children and other dogs. Right now - he is a spectator on the farm- and he is so eager to join in fun and family activities. As with all dogs, there will be a time of acclimation into his new home- and caution is advised for wandering. Please tell us about you, your family, yard, fenced property, other pets and what you can offer this dear boy. You ought have experience with the guardian breed- but remember- he doesn't want to work; don't think you can change him; he will only be placed as a family dog-no a lawn ornament. please provide your city or town, email address and phone number.
