About Baloo

This Beautiful Boy is BALOO a gorgeous purebred Blue Weimaraner. Baloo is 8yrs old, and has a lovely temperament and beautiful features. Baloo is blessed with stunning good looks, soulful eyes that just melt your heart, Baloo is approx 80lb of pure love. He is the daddy of 4 other Weimaraners we rescued from a home back in December 2016 Baloo`s story )))) Baloo is one of 5 Weimaraners we took in from the same owner, Baloo lost his home when his mom got divorced, After the divorce 3 of the Weims were left alone in the yard for several months with a relative coming over to feed them. Baloo was the least cared for he was used for breeding he had no medical interaction and was left outside for many years, When we got Baloo it was clear he had hematomas that had been left untreated as a result when we got him his ear canal closed up and we had to rush him to emergency for surgery, His ears are fine but do need cleaning on a more regular basis than you would normally do Baloo was no surprise when he also came up Heart Worm positive We have treated his Heart worms and he is now negative, We do keep him on Enalpril which is approx $25.00 for 60 days, Baloo has had the best vet care and he has truly come out of himself and has been allowedto be a weimy boy, Baloo has lived with his foster mom the entire time he has been with us he has come to love home comforts and being inside, he loves to sit in the yard and yes he has grown to love toys he likes his ball and ring. Baloo is a good boy, a big baby and he responds to love, he is a good listener, of course he has the Weimy traits and can be a little stubborn at times. We are committed to getting Baloo everything he needs in his new home, We are now searching for a wonderful WEIMARANER forever home for Baloo. His new family must have Weimaraner experience someone that understands our wonderful breed this is essential, A family that will love and cherish this boy as much as we do A home that will give him stability and security he needs, Baloo is so lovable he deserves a family that will give him love and attention. He loves to be around humans and takes well to everyone, Baloo is not a high Maintenance Weimarner he is happy to sit around and snuggle on the sofa, Baloo is house trained he will go to the door when he needs potty He is intelligent and smart and will easily pick up your routine. We are looking for a family that is home most of the day He is a typical Weim that dosent like to be left alone for hours on end he has already been subjected to that aspect, We are looking for a family that has time to invest in him. We do not crate any of our dogs and crating Baloo would be a disaster so we are looking for a family that will not crate him. Baloo loves home comforts, At night time he will sleep on a sofa or a bed however he just loves to sleep on your bed he loves to be close to his humans.So if you do not like a dog on your furniture Baloo is not for you. its so hard not to fall in love with this boy. He definitely needs a home with a FENCED in yard or pool lanai he loves to relax outside when it is warm He is good with other dogs and we would be looking to place him with a female companion around his own age and size or as an only dog with lots of human interaction NO SMALL DOGS Or CATS, He is good with Children and would recommend children over 10yrs no toddlers Baloo is not one for chaos so a quieter home would be what we are looking for. Baloo is very good in the car he loves to ride he comes when called and walks well on a leash Baloo is Neutered, current on all vaccinations heartworm Negative and he is micro.chipped. He is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to play outdoors and relax with you in the home, A family that is really stable and can give him that forever home that means forever. We don't want to ever find this boy back in rescue. A family that will include him in their lifestyle and activities. Baloo will excel with the right interaction.
