About Skippy

Skippy was born about May 17, 2017 and will likely top out about 20 lbs. He came as a Chihuahua mix, but we see strong Doxie as he is quite long and short. He is from the Virgin Islands and the Island dogs become very mixed due to the freedom of wandering so there is likely a grand range of breed mixes. This cutie is also very agile. Sisters, Kate and Molly Webster decided to take a wonderful vacation in the Virgin Islands and do something very kind when they realized there was a program in the Islands to send homeless dogs to the mainland where they can find wonderful new homes. The Islands have a terrible over-population problem and we are so proud of their willingness to bring these three cuties back to the Buffalo area and then relinquish them to us so we can then do our job of finding that perfect home. Skippy is fine with the other dogs, but may prefer to live as an only dog. He feels like a tough guy on leash when meeting new dogs. He does adore his humans and loves to snuggle in a lap when one is handy. He also loves to play and has fun in like. He is a silly, happy, loving, little boy.
