About Bella

This beautiful girl is Bella. She is a Spaniel mix who weighs 30 pounds. She is just under two years old. Bella came to us after being given away on Facebook only to be given away again. Luckily a friend convinced them to give her to a rescue instead so she would find a good forever home. That is how she found her way to Fur Fun Rescue. Bella is a sweet girl who is a very fast study. Our feeling is that no one spent the time and was consistent with her to teach Bella some of the well behaved doggie basics. After just a few days in one of our foster homes with someone giving her consistent training, Bella has excelled. She came to us not housetrained and now she is doing great. We expect by the time she is ready to go to her forever home she will be completely housetrained. She quickly learned to sit for things that she wanted likes treats and toys. She would do wonderfully in a home that would continue her training and teach her new things. Bella is wonderful with children, even the small ones. She loves being around them, too. She gets all wiggly and wags when she is with children. Bella also gets along well with other dogs. We aren't sure about cats. Bella is sweet as can be and is very gentle. She leans against you just to be near and is very affectionate. Bella is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, heartworm tested and microchipped. She is used to being kenneled when no one is at home. She is used to being taken out on leash to go potty, but would also love a fenced yard.
