About Freckles

****URGENT**** This is Freckles. He is 5 years old. He is a mix of a few breeds but I do know his dad is part Chow and Blue heeler or at least that's what my husband said. I put Dachshund because I don't know what his mom was but she had the markings of a black dachshund and short legs as well. He is not neutered or current on his shots but I am working on getting that done before he goes. The only people he has known is my husband and myself and grandkids so its hard to say how he is with other people. I will say he is quite timid at times but he is a VERY sweet loving dog. He is an outside dog and has been since he was born but we bring him in when its freezing out, when there are those times of year that have fireworks such as New Years Eve and 4th of July. Also when it storms so with that being said, he is not house trained but does good not to potty in utility room when we have him in but I will say he will need to be an only pet in the household as he is not good with other pets. He is good at keeping the rats down....he kills them when they cross his path. I love him so much and its not my choice to find him a new home. In fact I'm one of those people that hate to see owner surrenders on shelter pages, I hate that I am having to experience this myself.
