About Daisy Mae

Daisy Mae spent her life as an indoor house pet & companion to an older man. He had a life change and unfortunately, so did Daisy. She's house broke, crate trained, walks well on a leash & loves people. Her favorite thing to do is go for rides. She'd love another gentleman of her own who she can accompany to Lowes & Home Depot and just hang out with regularly. Long road trips would be a dream come true for her. She is a hound still and would tend to follow her nose so her new human will need to be very attentive in the beginning just in case some unsuspecting rabbit or squirrel passes through. She'd love to go for regular walks and would even make a good jogging partner. she's also a great security system who barks at strange noises and does sound bigger than she is. Our girl is in remarkable shape for being almost 7 yrs old. The man who gave her up was also the one who saved her and her litter mates from being eaten by a bear when they were pups. She's got a cute little bent nose and a quirky sideways grin as a souvenir from the ordeal. Daisy has spent over 9 months ISO her Happily Ever After and truly deserves a break.
