About Buster

Poster child of what a labrador should be like. Amazing with all other animals, children and adults. Buster knows no stranger. He has no bad habits and does not jump on people, dig or tear up the home. He is very low maintenance. Heartworm negative and up-to-date on vaccines. He is an older guy at around eight years old but still very young at heart with little to no gray (looks MUCH younger for his estimated age). Teeth just cleaned at the veterinarian. He does have stiffness in his hips and needs a one story home that is large enough to accommodate his big self (he is 80 pounds and in shape,). LOVES the water and dog parks. Would be amazing as a boat dog. Great teacher for other dogs as well and would be a great demo dog for a trainer. Buster knows many tricks and obedient commands: - Bark on command - Bark quietly - Shake (with either paw) - SIt - Stay - Down - Go to your bed - Back up - Come on command - Crate trained, house trained and leash trained IF INTERESTED: Please definitely give this guy a chance! Buster's owner passed away, and his current home has stairs as well as small hallways. He is constantly getting knocked into and has no room to be the big dog he is. Desperately needs a forever home. Adoption fee is $150 to an agreed upon charity to ensure he goes to someone who can afford him and truly wants him. IF AN OFFICIAL RESCUE IS INTERESTED IN HELPING, NO FEE.
