About Crawford

Adoption Fee: $295
Boxer / Lab
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Crawford! Boxer Mix DOB 11/12/2017 Currently 18 pounds Crawford is a shy, extremely affectionate and very playful puppy! Crawford loves to play tug of war and fetch....and his new favorite chew toy is an antler, which he borrows from his older foster brother. Speaking of the old foster brother, Crawford loves playing with him and Crawford can hold his own with the other dogs. When Crawford is uneasy with a new situation, he stands between your legs, waiting for your approval. Crawford is crate trained and sleeps in his crate all night, with no problems at all! He loves a couple blankets and some chew toys to keep him entertained during the day when we have to leave him for a couple hours. Crawford is doing an excellent job on his house training! We are working on manners and he understands 'no' and will come when you call him. Crawford is such a sweet boy and is looking for his forever home! Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a 'teen' or adult dog. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
