West Monroe, Louisiana Fido, aka Gabe, is a terrific companion. Although his life started out rough with a lot of neglect, Gabe has come a long way from the skinny dog he used to be. He gets along with the ten other dogs in his foster family and just ignores the two cats in the house. Gabe is very affectionate; in fact, this persistent guy will nuzzle your hand to let you know that he wants some loving. The peanut butter to your jelly, Gabe becomes very attached to his humans. Gabe is house, leash, and kennel trained (he sleeps there at night). Not super energetic, Gabe likes to play, but not wrestle, with other dogs. This gentle giant is tall so the potential for counter surfing is there, but easy to correct. He has been good with his foster grandchildren. Gabe had a rough beginning to this journey we call life, please consider adopting and showing him the love he deserves!
