About Rusty Hi! My name is Rusty (not to be confused with the Terrier of the same name here at Pammy's). I am a young Shepard mix who was seen running the streets of Goodyear for several weeks before some great people finally caught me and contacted Pammy. They think I am about 1 year old, and not sure what I am mixed with. I am probably not going to get much taller, though I will fill out some, Pammy likes to call me a Pocket Shepherd cause I am only about 35 lbs, but I am super soft and fluffy! My foster mom tells me I am very smart - I learned my name in less than 2 days, and I scratch at the door when I need to go potty. I love to lay on my foster mom's kitchen floor and eat ice cubes - even when its winter. She says I am sweet and loving, and praises me because I rarely bark. I love playing with my foster mom's cats and other dogs, so a four-legged sibling would be great - just let me do a 'meet and greet' first. I think a family with 'dog friendly' children who would play with me and take me for long walks would be perfect. I'm still not sure what a leash is all about, but I'm so smart I know I can learn what to do very quickly. I would love to take an obedience class with my new family so I can show off how smart I am.
