About Lula the lover girl

Hi, they call me Lula, and I'm a darling and beautiful black DSH/ Bombay mix gal with a white pendant at my throat and copper-penny eyes who was born in June 2017. I'm the perfect mix of sweet and cuddly along with active and playful. I love to play with the other kitty fosters in my home, so it's hard for my foster meowmy to catch a good photo of me. When I'm thoroughly tuckered out is when I love to crawl up in my foster meowmy's lap for a snooze and a photo session. We Bombay mixes are often called Velcro kitties because we are so attached to our humans, and I'm no exception. I'm an orphan, but I've mixed in well with the other foster cats so that we even groom each other. I'm just glad to be safe inside because I was rescued from an apartment complex where dubious tenants had bludgeoned one of the other strays with a baseball bat. Some Buster's Friends volunteers didn't want me to suffer the same fate, so thankfully I was brought into my foster home. Now I'm ready for my forever home, so please arrange to meet me so I can cuddle up in your lap (that is, after you've worn me out with the laser light!) Please don't be superstitious of black cats! You know, Groucho Marx once said, 'A black cat crossing your path signifies that the animal is going somewhere.' Buster's Friends makes a concerted effort to rescue black cats and kittens from shelters because they are five times more likely to be euthanized than any other color of cat. However, many people who have had a black or Bombay mix cat before end up adopting another one because they seem to have such wonderful personalities and are emotionally stable and well balanced. Lula is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted.
