About Charlie Bear

Adoption Fee: $150.00
Poodle
Age: Senior
Sex: Male

Well hello ladies and Gents, thank you for stopping in to get to know me. I am an 8-10-year young miniature Poodle black/silver in colour. I am approximately 15 lbs. and neutered. I was found on Christmas Eve late at night in the cold and damp weather. My coat was a matted mess and once my rescuer/foster mom cleaned me up, she found 4 infected puncture wounds. My foster mom thinks I may have endured some physical abuse, because when I see a hand reaching out, I tend to duck and shy away a little, but I'm doing much better as I learn to trust again. I do love to be around my people and get along with other dogs, both big and small, as long as they respect my space and let me hang out and lounge in the sun. I am pretty much housebroken and crate trained, but prefer to quietly lay on the couch or my doggie bed. My eyesight is a little lacking at night, so I probably should not be left wandering around outside after dark. I am not super high energy, but I do like to go on walks. I would do best in a calm house where my person is still active but not 'athletic'. This is what I foresee for my Golden years'|. a comfy couch, good food, lots of love and to be spoiled rotten! If you think I might be the perfect addition to your home, please contact my foster mom Pia at 714~315~7368 or email her at [email protected] *Application, Home check, and Adoption contract required. *My adoption fee includes my vet checkup, neuter, Parvo shot, Bordetella Vaccine, Rabies shot and microchip.
