About Barkley

A note and description from Barkley's Grandma....Barclay is a true love bug! He is 4 years old. Birthday is 8/13/13 He weighs 135 lbs. he is a great watch dog on his territory. He is trained very well. He knows hand signals as well as verbal commands. As soon as he sees his leash he sits without even being told to! He walks right beside you on leash. He has a sister cat that is his boss! She lays in front of his crate so he can't go in. Hee hee! He is great with her. So cats are not a problem. He does well with other dogs. Although recently he didn't like a male dog he met. He loves his crate, tug toys ,bones, playing fetch with balls,riding in cars and stuffed animals. He loves to snuggle with people. He likes to walk or hike but only so far. He is neutered. He has been around children but not enough for me to judge if he would be good with children in the house. He needs a new home because his master ( my son) passed away.
