Toes needs our help today. He is trapped in a overcrowded shelter that has to make room for new dogs. Just 3 years old, this lab/pointer mix is a shelter volunteer favorite. We don't know how he is with kids or cats at this point, but everyone that has met TOES describe him as a really good boy, a playful, affectionate and loving dog, a great family dog. Toes has only been at the shelter for a short time, but because he is one of the longest residents, he is on the kill list. So Toes and his 3 very adoptable shelter friends are next in line to be killed when new adoptable strays or owner surrenders are brought to the shelter. As is so often the case this is a very adoptable pup that just needs a little time and exposure which an overcrowded shelter does not afford. A local Bucks County, PA Rescue Group will pull Toes, vet him, transport him to Bucks County, PA and find him a great home if they can secure a foster commitment and/or donations to cover boarding fees for at least 2 weeks at $15/day and transport fee of $100.00. If you can help TOES, please let us know as soon as possible. Thank you.
