Our little Junebug is doing well after her amputation surgery a few weeks back. If you remember, she came to us from an AL shelter with unknown injuries, once our vet revealed she had a shattered humerus from a gun shot, we knew what had to happen. Currently in a VT foster home, she has come out of her shell and started to play with toys like a regular dog should. She is quiet, around 2 years old and would want nothing more than a lap to cuddle on and hang out with her person. She is good with other mellow dogs, has not met any kitties and good with older calm kids. Imagine being 13 lbs and someone shooting you in the foot - she can be understandably shy with loud noises. Junebug is a great little gal - please help us find a perfect home for her.
