About Baxter

We are looking for the perfect owner(s) for a sweet, but insecure dog. This is Baxter. He is a very good dog. This is the third time I have posted him because we love him and wish we could keep him. So, I keep taking the post down hoping things will change. The reason we can't keep him you ask? Well, we lost our JRT of 16 yrs Sept. 2015. We loved him so much, and missed him so much, that we allowed a first time breeder to talk us into two of them. We got Baxter and Maxx. They are 18 Mon. old. We also have a small female dog and 2 cats. Last July, Maxx & Baxter began to get aggressive with each other. And, by October they could not be together any more. The other animals are not an issue except Baxter chases the cats more aggressively than Maxx. My husband and I feel that Baxter would be such a great addition to someone's home where he can be the one and only. No children just because he has not been around children. He is somewhat insecure. But, he loves to snuggle in the recliner with you. He loves long walks and he does great tricks. He loves most fresh, raw vegetables. He is crate trained and potty trained. He had his shots the beginning of December. The reason we are asking any money at all is to donate part to the rescue and to replace heartworm medicine that will go with him. We know that there is a perfect situation out there for him.
