About Johnny Bravo

The dog, the myth, the legend...it's Johnny Bravo! Few dogs possess the exact combination of charm and height that has made Mr. Bravo so endearing to his many admirers. He is a truly great dog that likes to use his charm (and his height) to give hugs and to get treats in equal measure. Johnny is one of those dogs that you can easily picture in a variety of scenarios: running on the beach after a tennis ball, playing with some four-legged friends out back, or sitting by your side after a long day at the office. He is a middle-aged Lab mix that has the wisdom to make him an all-star when it comes to manners and housebreaking, and the liveliness to still enjoy playtime. Originally a West Virginian transplant, Johnny had been adopted from us last spring. He was with his family for several months before they decided he was not the right fit for them, and through no fault of his own Johnny returned to Adopt-A-Dog. His time in a home further confirmed what we already knew about this resilient guy: he's great with most other dogs, kids and people of all ages and is just as easygoing as ever. Johnny has resumed his mantle of being a volunteer favorite since returning and while he does enjoy making new volunteer friends, we cannot wait to see him in his forever home.
