Most people get Chrissy confused for a puppy, or even a teddy bear because of how cute she is. It may also be because she is constantly nestled in between copious amounts of dog beds and blankets, with her stuffed companions at her side. Chrissy is a toy enthusiast and we like to help her add to her collection by having a bounty of stuffed friends to choose from. She is the picture of spoiled, but she is every bit deserving of it! Chrissy was originally adopted from us in 2015, and due to extenuating circumstances she was returned to us in October. Physically, Chrissy was not in the best shape as she had developed diabetes and was a bit chunky for her size. Once she returned, we got straight to work on bringing Chrissy back to a healthy form by focusing on managing her diabetes. Chrissy is now feeling better than ever and would be glad to show her potential adopters how to keep her in shape! As a senior gal, Chrissy likes her creature comforts and being taken care of. An ideal home for Chrissy would be with a similarly senior dog that likes a sometimes loud (it's the Beagle) companion, or as the only pet. Chrissy is great with people but we think a home with older kids or teens would be best as she is used to having a more quiet environment. Chrissy promises that if you adopt her, she will only bring 5 of her stuffed animals with her! For more information, please call us at (914) 273-1674 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
