About Sadie

Sadie is a -year-old female red border collie. Her father is papered but her mother is not. She is dark brown with traditional markings. She weighs 35 pounds and is house trained. Sadie has been with our family since she was 6 weeks old. She attended Sit means Sit immersion school as a puppy and group lessons. Sadie is very smart and she is motivated by food making her attentive and easy to train. A true female, she tends to push her boundaries, give lots of sweet looks and kisses. 'Rules are for those less pretty.' Sadie has been raised with her brother and my mother's standard poodle but She is not social. We attended a special class for aggressive behavior. We take her out and hike with her regularly. When other dogs approach, we make her sit and stand between her and other dogs. Sadie has been a family dog indoor/outdoor with a 0.2-acre yard and lots of daily exercise. She loves to play fetch with a ball and a frisbee. She has the high energy of her breed but is very mellow in the house and not destructive. She likes to be with people. When I work she is in the yard for 14 hours. She doesn't dig, chew or bark (with the exception of squirrels.) Sadie has never worked with livestock. She is FAST! Watching her run is amazing. She is attentive and trainable and comes from working parents. Sadie is not mean but she is impulsive and she can not be trusted around small children and has a bite history. Not a border collie nip, an I'm the boss of you bite. We are looking for a home where everyone is safe. Please contact me with questions.
