About Willow

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. My name is Willow and I'm gentle and easy breezy just like my name would suggest. I love to play and cuddle equally so I'll be the perfect puppy and companion. I am tough enough to play rough with my big foster sissy and also loving enough to curl up with her after and nap... on our backs with legs straight up in the air cause we're crazy and we just don't care. My siblings and I were no t born in desirable circumstances and we had to fight really hard to live. My mommy did the best she could but she was malnourished also. You may be interested to know that she's a beautiful, petit lab mix and weighs about 30 lbs. My foster mommy says that I must take after my daddy bc I don't look like mommy. We don't know anything about my daddy because he wasn't the sticking around type. Whatever he was, they say I should be a 'good size', which they estimate to be around 30-40 lbs. I'm still tiny myself, but I'm growing quickly and my coat is a beautiful chocolate brown as I grow healthier, it's getting shinier. I have auburn/blonde eyebrows and the same color on my back foot. Pretty cool looking, if you ask me. I am learning the ways of the world. I go potty in the grass just like my big foster sissies do and if I can't wait, I try to get to a puppy pad because I'm a smart girl. I love to play but I'm just as happy with my human family members snuggled up close. I'd prefer another K9 to snuggle with at night. That makes my crate less scary. All I ask is this: if you want to adopt me, please be committed to taking care of me just like I'm family. Cuddle me, spoil me and love me until my very last breath. I'll love you with the same devotion in return. Now come say hi and let me smother you with puppy kisses because we both know that's what you want. Let's see if we're a good match! Willow is a Female Flat-Coated Retriever/ Spaniel Mix that we estimate to be born around 11/10/2017. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
