About Lucy - IN TRAINING

Hello world. My name is Lucy and I am a black Lab puppy who is 9 months old, 40 pounds. I am FULL of energy. I love to run and play. I am going to need a family that doesn't mind constant activity, or at least till I get tired. I love to play with other dogs and don't know when to quit playing. Sometimes I need a time out away from other dogs to rest. Not all dogs will like my energy as I will jump on them and try to engage them into play any way I can. I LOVE balls and will return them to you to throw again. I will always be by your side; I love my people. I am in my 10 weeks of training at the Lakeland Correctional Facility and I am learning to behave in a home along with my other commands that will make me a great family dog. I have a great spirit and I like cats but will chase them when bored or looking to play with them. I like children and all people. I do jump 4-foot fences so higher than a 4-foot fence will be required for me. I will need to be crated when left unattended for my safety as I eat things and tear things up. RPSM recommends children 6 years and older. I will require a physical fence that is taller than 4 feet, or underground.
