About Jake

Jake is a very sweet, 2 year old German Shepherd. He is somewhat shy, but warms up quickly once he feels safe. His original family left him in the backyard when they moved. He has been living with another family, and it is not a fit as there are numerous children in the home and he is not doing well with the craziness. He does well with older the children, but little children seem to scare him. Jake is neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. He is potty trained. Jake's ideal adopter would be someone who can provide plenty of exercise and training, and be familiar with the German Shepherd breed.
