Hazel is a beautiful, one and a half year old-sweet and smart dog. She weighs 55 pounds. She is happy, playful and excited about everything and everyone! She shows many signs of being best suited to agility training and has strong herding instincts. We got her as a 10 week old puppy and she immediately bonded with our 4 year old Blue Heeler male, (she herds him most of the time!) We both lost our social service jobs unexpectedly in October due to budget cuts which means in our new jobs we lost the flexible schedules we relied on to care for and adequately excercise two working dogs while living in a big city. Hazel does not walk on the leash well- we have been through several different harnesses, collars and trainers. ( She sticks close by but off leash walking in the city is not possible.)She needs more freedom and space to run, and mostly she needs to be with her people most of the day.
