About Joy

Adoption Fee: $125
Maine Coon / Domestic Cat
Age: Young Kitten
Sex: Female

My name is Joy, and I'm a sweet, loving, gorgeous Maine Coon/ domestic medium hair gal who was born in September 2017. My coat coloring is described as 'torbie,' which means that I'm a brown tabby with tinges of orange. You might say that I look like I was sprinkled lightly with caramel in a candy factory. I've got a luxurious coat, and as I mature, my tail and ruff around my face will fluff up. Like most Maine Coon mixes, I should grow to be a big girl! I love to be held in your lap and petted; however, I'm still a little skittish of loud noises and the unexpected. So I'll jump down if I get spooked, yet I'll come right back because I love to be petted and brushed. So I'm looking for a human with a lot of TLC as well as patience who allows me to blossom into the loving girl who's deep inside me once I feel comfortable in your home. Once I feel secure, then I'm yours!!! I know that if you give me a chance, we will have a long, loving life together As a 3-month-old kitten, I ended up at a shelter on Christmas Day -- can you imagine? Luckily my future Buster's Friends' foster meowmy arrived the next day, spotted me, and bailed me out. So that's how I got my name -- Joy -- because I'm joyous to be ready to find a home to call my own and not live a hardscrabble life on the streets any more. I'm playful and get along great with the other foster kitties and the resident small dogs, so my home can include other 4-legged critters. I haven't been around kids, but I think I'd be okay with quiet, gentle children. Won't you arrange to meet me today so that we can start writing the next chapter in our lives together? Joy is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $125 for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Joy, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.
