About Josie

Welcome to 2018 and welcome to a special little girl. Everyone say hello to Josie! She holds the special place of being our last intake for 2017 and our first up for adoption in 2018. Josie is a very sweet and very active 5 year old. She loves everyone and everything she meets. She is quite the little tomboy who does not hesitate to get into all the dirt she can find. She is a true to the core westie. She sniffs out everything she can and is a very good digger. She is a quick learner, but she is a terrier and has that westitude they are known for. She doesn't think twice about giving you backtalk if she doesn't like what you are telling her. She is very good on a leash. She loves being with other dogs and she also does well with cats. Due to her high level of activity, a fenced yard is required. Please pay attention to the requirements to be considered for adoption: *Westie experience *Fenced yard *At least one other younger active dog for company *Someone that is home (works from home, retired, works part time, etc) This sweet girl is a bundle of love, but can keep you on your toes. The photos are deceiving, she does not have a gray face, it's just shadows.
