About Abby

Anyone want to adopt a super cute 3-4 year old coonhound mix? I rescued this dog from a very bad situation. She was chained up outside in the cold with no food and water, was limping and terrified of humans and in pretty bad shape. I'm assuming she was used as a hunting dog. The owner gave her to me as she was no use to him injured. I took her to the vet and she was treated for three different types of parasites, I also got her rabies shot as well as other necessary vaccines ( distemper,parvo, kennel cough). She had frostbite on one of her paws which was why she was limping which has since been resolved. I have named her Abby and she is a GREAT dog, She is already potty trained, gets along with cats,dogs and even pigs! She sleeps a lot and is very food motivated and has no signs of any type of food/toy aggression even though she was clearly starved. She loves to cuddle and has turned into such a happy friendly dog! Im in medical school and with me already having another dog, I cant give her the life she deserves but I dont have the heart to drop her off at a shelter. I live in Harrogate,TN ( hour in a half from Knoxville) but am willing to commute and meet someone for the right home! I AM PLANNING ON GETTING HER SPAYED :)
