Bella was found emaciated in early December when my husband arrived for a landscaping job. She had been locked in the garage of an elderly woman for five days without food or water because she kept getting into the woman's trash. My husband brought her home. We originally intended to keep her, but due to unforseen circumstances, we had to move in with family and cannot keep her. I have not been able to afford a veterinary visit. She is EXTREMELY loving and loyal. She follows me from room to room and absolutely loves to be held. I don't think she could emotionally withstand the animal shelter/pound. She came to us predominantly housebroken, but she needs to go out more frequently than most dogs I've encountered. She seems to be old. She needs dental care. She's done well around my 4 and 7 year old children. She's skittish around other dogs but will tolerate them once assimilated. She is not a fan of cats but will tolerate them. If you want someone to love you with all their heart, Bella is your girl. Please, take her if you can. She has such a great heart and it will break mine to take her to the pound.
