Monty was found about 2 months ago attempting to cross the street and he ran into the curb knocking himself out. His eye's where sealed shut from an infection (cleared up with antibiotics), he was malnourished and severely dehydrated. I'm happy to say he's doing much better. He is well tempered, wonderful with small children and small dogs and does well with other cats. He does have some PTSD from his days on the streets and tends to be a bit jumpy. He will run and hide when he is scared. Monty is for the M on his forehead. He is a wonderful cat and those rather beautiful tiger markings (Mackerel Tabby) don't reflect is very gentle nature. Monty is getting comfortable with the outdoors again, but still needs supervision when outdoors as he needs the security. Monty eats dry food, which he has access too when ever he wants, he let's me know by tapping or clawing the food container when I'm in the kitchen. He also enjoys shredded chicken and sometimes needs some wet food to help him poop. Sadly I cannot afford to care for another cat having been caring for various ones about the neighborhood and my wife is having surgery at the end of month. I wont have to the time dedicate to Monty as I do now. Monty needs a loving forever home as soon as possible. . Monty is not neutered, but I would be willing to pay for half of the fee.
