About Bear

Bear formerly Rowdy was rescued from Jay County Animal Control. He is a bit overweight and would benefit from a diet and exercise. He is a super sweet boy who loves to give lots of kisses. He is adjusting to life not sharing his kennel. His brother Scout went into a foster home. Bear was the protector over Scout formerly Pete. The boys did not know their names so we decided to give them new names with their new beginnings. They need a little bit of leash work. He does pretty good for a dog that has spent a year of his young life at the shelter. Bear needs a family where someone is home with him to reassure him that he is not going to be left again and help him gain his confidence. He will need a fenced in yard. He has meet the other dogs in my house and did great with all of them and was scared of the cats. Bear is neutered, up to date on shots and wormed, heart worm negative, and on heartworm preventative and micro-chipped.
