About Duke

Duke is a loving bindle color terrier mix. He is a very loving mellow fella. He enjoys just chilling on the floor/his chair. He is only dominant when it comes to his food or bones. He has been good with children and adults. He is a runner and spent most of his life in a shelter until I rescued him a year ago. He is looking for a home where he can be the only pet. I feel he is a one pet animal because he gets jealous of you loving others. He likes to eat his food in private and buries his bones in his kennel under his blankets. He listens very well to sit, lay, stay, and up. He loves to cuddle close. He is a sweetheart and will be perfect for the person who is in need of that one loving companion. (Duke is the white/brindle in the picture here. He has a friend whom he is currently living with who is also up for rescue - Jack. They are good dogs, but too much for one person to handle. They are both wanting to be dominant at this point, and therefore I need to separate them. Unless there is someone who has the land for them to run and get the energy out.) Please take a look and let me know if you are interested in one of my babies. I love them, but am not able to give them the attention they need.
