About Rosie

The link to our adoption application is at the end of this bio. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Rosie is a sweet and fairly low key Shih Tzu. She is in foster with multiple dogs of other sizes and seems to be fine with all of them. We found out recently that Rosie LOVES to go for car rides, so she'd make a great travel companion. It took her about a week to warm up and settle in at her foster home and now she's greeting us like old friends when we get home. Rosie is ready to meet adopters now! ------------------------------------------------------------------- She's been spayed, vaccinated, 4DX tested, and had a dental done & teeth extracted, plus wormer and flea/tick treatment. She weighed 18.9 lb on 12/27 when the vet first saw her. She should probably weigh around 20-21 lb, still feels a little skinny. The good news is she likes the food we're feeding, so it should be fairly easy to put a little weight on her. Currently being treated for an eye infection which is improving. The vet estimated Rosie's age as around 8 years old.
