Sallie Mae is two years old.She is just the best! She is playful, lovable and gets along with everything. She is a typical bloodhound and loves to use her nose. She was surrendered to the kill shelter because her owners cannot afford heart worm treatment. Our rescue has decided to pay for the treatment because our vet, who LOVES bloodhounds and has one of his own, is doing the treatment VERY discounted for us but mostly for Sallie Mae (he loves her). She is young and otherwise very healthy. We had her spayed already and she's vaccinated. We'd like a somewhat local adopter so she can get to our vet next month for the final injection. So far she's doing great! She can go home either through an adoption or foster-to-adopt situation until treatment has concluded. We have videos.. sure to make you smile! The shelter wants to euthanize this young gal - but with an adoption interest they can't! Please inquire.. she will be fully recovered in one month and the heart worms will be GONE!
