About Gaia

This beautiful, sweet pointer/bully (?) mix, Gaia, is finally ready for her forever home. She knows her name WELL, she knows 'come', 'wait', 'inside', 'sit', 'stay' (working on stay, but she does it more often than not), she's great on a leash, okay off a leash (great with ME off leash and I'm sure will be with her new owner once yall have bonded). She is looking SO great (she came to us emaciated and just had a litter and she has gained SO much weight!) and gets along with everyone/everything! She's super cuddley, 100% house and crate trained, good with cats, very gentle (but gets a little crazy when playing with another dog), a LITTLE skiddish kinda, but not unfriendly or scared acting either. And she's only had food aggression twice, so she needs to be watched while eating around other animals - both times were with Somali (he's a pirate bastard of a cat though) and never with humans with anything. We've given her a few bully sticks and she hasn't acted possessive. She's not dominant at all, and is awkwardly submissive, but not overly submissive. She's been a great temporary addition to our pack and if we didn't live in an APARTMENT (and I didn't wanna keep fostering), we'd keep her, but she must find her awesome FOREVER home. I can do private meet and greets pretty much any time and she'll be at Barkabull's adoption events! Gaia is def the sweetest calmest mush you'll ever meet!
