Rylee will turn 9 years old in May. He is a mixed breed - one half lab, one quarter shepherd, and one quarter pit bull - but looks like a thin black lab. He is very athletic, but has come to enjoy relaxing more in his older age. He loves to play fetch, wrestle with his best friend (our other dog), and take walks. He is the most affectionate, love-seeking dog I've ever known. He greets us with enthusiasm when we return home, loves to snuggle, and enjoys performing simple commands (sit, lie down, shake). However, he has a lot of fear. He trembles during thunderstorms and fireworks and wants to stay by your side. He occasionally barks when he hears people talking in front of our house. Most notably, he is uneasy towards strangers and can show aggression if not introduced properly. He is walked with a muzzle and kept away from other dogs and runners. Ninety percent of the time, Rylee is a joy to have around, but unfortunately, this sweet dog can become dangerous when his paranoia overtakes him.
