To get the bad stuff out of the way first: We're looking for a new home for our dog simply because he is a hound dog and has a very strong prey drive - after months of working at it, he still wants to kill the cat :-( He's driven toward other small animals, too (squirrels, chipmunks, chickens, etc. He'd be GREAT for a hunter family!). Our other dogs are off-leash walkers, so this guy just isn't quite fitting in at our home. Otherwise he's absolutely fantastic (which makes this heartbreaking for us). Now for the good stuff‰'Û| Tyrion (yes, as in Tyrion Lannister haha) is a 40 pound, 1.5 year-old male Plott Hound / Tennessee Treeing Brindle. Adorable and energetic, this is one smart cookie who's ready for adventure. 'T' is neutered, vaccinated, and very healthy (paperwork included). He's also house broken, leash trained, crate trained, doesn't beg at the dinner table, and only barks briefly to alert you when someone is at the door. In the home, Tyrion is calm and mild mannered; he is *incredibly* affectionate and loyal, so no amount of love or cuddles is too much for this guy. T does need a lot of exercise, so a large fenced yard is best, or at least daily trips to the dog park. He plays very well with just about any dog, so if you have other dogs, all the better! We're in SE Michigan and are willing to drive a bit for the right home. We'd love to get to know you and make sure he's a good fit for you. Please don't hesitate to message me if you or someone you know is looking for a new, fun companion. Thank you!
