About Gunny

Gunny is 1 year old (born Dec 31, 16) and a loved member of our family. Unfortunately we live in an apartment that has come under new management and will not allow his breed even though we have been here 3 years and had him a year. We are not in a position to move so with broken hearts we are trying to find a good home for him. He is almost 80 pounds and thinks he is a lap dog. He has never been aggressive with any of our family from young to old and tries like crazy to play with our cats and other dogs. He does bark when someone knew is near one of us so we are careful. If someone comes in the house that he doesn't know he barks and puffs up but does calm down after a few minutes and is fine. He does need his last set of booster shots. We got him from a rescue in February thinking he was a pocket, he clearly is not. We are all very attached to him and are heartbroken so please do not contact about him unless you are very sure and very serious. He loves to run and play, he is potty trained but we do kennel him if we are gone more than an hour just because of the puppy potential. He sleeps on his own pillow on the floor at the foot of our bed. He should not have to be put down just because of his breed.
