About Xena

Xena is a three year old female. She is VERY sweet and good with other dogs and kids. She is a 'special needs' animal. She has two chronic conditions that must be monitored. She has Addison's Disease which requires an injection of medication every 25 days. She will need to go to the vet every 6 months for electrolyte testing and will require a full blood panel every year. She also has chronic dry eye which requires daily drops in her eyes. She has horrible genetics and needs her teeth cleaned every 6 months. We cannot afford her veterinarian bills or medication anymore. We want her to go to the best home possible that will put her medical needs first. You must be very patient and have the financial resources to bring her to the vet a few times per year. She loves to cuddle and watch TV with you. She will be a great companion to the right person.
