************** ADOPTION PENDING ************* Mikie was born in a home outside of Monroe, AL. His mom is a black Lab mix, and we suspect his dad may be a smaller breed dog. He has 6 siblings and spent the first 6-7 weeks nursing and being cared for by his mom. A neighbor volunteers at the local shelter and told us about the pups. Once they were weaned she took over their care by fostering them until they were old enough to travel to us. Thanks to her hard work, the pups have received lots of love and are up to date on their vaccinations. Mikie is estimated to be 9 weeks old and he weighs 10.5 lbs. He is working on his house breaking and crate training skills - and is at the perfect age to master them. We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are included in Mikie's family tree. We know mom is a Lab mix, and a Boxer mix & Jack Russell Terrier mix live nearby - but this is only a guess. Based on his current size and rate of growth, we expect him to reach 45-50 pounds as an adult. - Enjoys playing with other dogs - Up-to-date on vaccines - Snuggly & Affectionate - Eager to learn - Happy & Friendly - Has NOT been Neutered * * Based on current veterinary recommendations, these pups have not been spayed or neutered due to their young age. We do require proof of this procedure at a later date as part of the terms of our Adoption Agreement. Please discuss the correct time for this to be done with your veterinarian. We can provide a $75 rebate once the procedure is completed. Our adoption fee is $350 which includes age appropriate vaccines (such as Distemper, Bordetella, Parvo, Rabies), worming, micro- chipping, and health exam. Discount vouchers for training, grooming and similar dog related products and services are provided.
