About CAPTAIN

Before meeting Captain, we were told he was a purebred Doberman; however, his smaller size dictates that he is possibly Manchester or Kelpie mixed with a slender breed -- he has beautiful lean lines. Captain is nicely trained for being a young pup (close to a year old) but still has puppy tendencies so he'll need someone to continue his etiquette training. He'll need to be crated while you're gone (can be a chewer) so his people should not be gone more than 3-4 hour spurts at a time -- he doesn't want to be in a crate 8-10 hours a day. Captain is a sweet boy who would be happy to be your one and only, or is okay with larger dogs (not littles). Any children in the home should be at least 14 years old and responsible. His new home should have a yard for him and grass would be a huge plus.
