About Mr. Nubs

Mr. Nubs was fostered by us for two months, he was found as a stray by a friend and given to us to take care of because he had nowhere to go. He was in bad shape, extremely skinny and covered in old and fresh scars. He was timid at first but opened up to us and became the friendliest dog we've ever fostered. We weren't sure if he was okay with other dogs because we think he was used as a bait dog, but when we SLOWLY introduced him to our small Rat Terrier they got along great and they played. We also slowly introduced him to another American Bulldog and walked them together with no issue, he's a great walker! Unfortunately, we couldn't foster him anymore and decided to take him to Miami Dade Animal Services in Doral, Fl. We have contacts there that assured us it was the right decision so he can have more exposure. He was neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He was adopted rather quickly by someone and returned two weeks later because that person KNEW his situation and placed him inside a dog park after only a few days of having him and there was an incident 'supposedly'. He knew Mr. Nubs was supposed to be introduced SLOWLY to other dogs, and because of this he was labeled 'Aggressive'. Now he is IN DANGER of being euthanized at the shelter.
