About Olive

Domestic Cat
Age: Kitten
Sex: Female

1/08/18-S Olive is a female and is 6 months old and weighs 4 lbs. Vet care was provided $164.40. She was presented for lesions on her skin and face. Skin scrape was negative for mites but that does not definitively rule out scabies. I suspect that she has dermatophytosis (ringworm) with a secondary bacterial infection. She also tested positive for ear mites. We cleaned her ears and applied an Acarexx treatment. Recommend deworming her for 5 days with panacur. Start on Terbinafine (anti-fungal) and Revolution topically as directed. We gave the first dose of Terbinafine today and applied the first dose of Revolution. Recommend rechecking her skin in 2 weeks and we will reapply the Revolution at that time. Will be available 1-13-18.
