About Vixen

Adoption Fee: $535
Australian Shepherd mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

This is our lovely, Vixen! Vixen came to us at just 10 weeks old from a very high intake/high kill shelter in south Texas. When she first arrived she was terrified and timid, and it has been so rewarding to watch this sweet girl flourish into the confident puppy she is today. Vixen is now estimated to be around 13-14 weeks old and weighs a little over 8lbs. Vixen is completely kennel trained, and completely house trained when kept on a schedule. She loves playing with her foster brothers and sisters, enjoys playing with her toys and tennis balls, and she also likes running around the back yard and playing in the leaves. She does very well sleeping in her kennel, but she would prefer to sleep where she can see her human and maybe even share a tiny corner of their bed. She was diagnosed with a heart murmur when she initially came to us, and further testing revealed that she does have a ventricular septal defect. It is considered a small defect at this time and does not require any surgery or medication, but will need to be monitored. We have attached a link with further information on this for anyone interested in adoption. Vixen has all age appropriate vaccinations, has been initiated on heartworm medications and is microchipped. She is ready for adoption and we are so excited to help her find the perfect family!‰'Ű|/uploads/‰'Ű|/10/VSDs-in-Dogs.pdf If you think your family would be a good fit for Vixen please fill out an application at His adoption fee is $535 and all proceeds from his adoption go towards future rescues.
