GUMDROP (LH Dilute Tortie) - AVAILABLE! Only $55 adoption!!! Gumdrop was an owner surrender to the shelter. I wasn't given any history on her though, so her past is unknown. Once at the shelter, she became very fearful and because of that, she ended up on their euthanasia list. That's when Safe Haven stepped in and rescued this beautiful little girl. Gumdrop has a sweet, laid back personality. She has a loud purr that I can hear from across the room! Since she is long haired, she will need to be brushed daily to prevent matting (mattes are painful!) and to keep her coat shiny. Birthday: 6/5/17 Weight at last Vet visit: 4 lbs Cats: Yes, she is good with other cats and wants to go up and greet them and play. She has been friendly with all the cats here. She purrs when she sees them. Small Dogs: She has been around small dogs here and she seems fine with them. She doesn't really react. Large Dogs: She has been around large dogs here and she seems fine with them. She doesn't really react. Kids: Unknown, but older kids only because she is so small. Men: Unknown Women: Sweet and friendly Strangers: Keeps her distance and watches. Food: I feed all the cats on a rotational diet. Which means they get a different brand of high quality food each month. I do this because I do not think that one brand can provide all the nutrients that they need. Just like one food can't provide us with all that we need...Plus, who wants to eat the same thing every day? She gets 3/4 C. of kitten food a day, and usually does not even eat it all. So she would be a great cat to free feed (keep a large bowl out for her all the time). Litter Box Trained: Yes, I use the scoopable litter. Other issues: None, she's adorable Adoption fee is only $55 & includes: - Spay/Neuter surgery - Tested for FELV and FIV per protocol (only cats that are negative go up for adoption) - Up to date on Vaccinations - Microchip - Collar - Other surprise goodies from Safe Haven - Free office visit to Vet - 50% off any Optimum Wellness Plan - 30 days of Free Pet Insurance (in case something comes up after adoption) - Other coupons from Partners - Available Paperwork: Spay/Neuter records, Vaccination records, Vet records, Micro records, Recommendation list, etc... - Continued Support: Safe Haven will be there for the lifetime of your new adopted pet. A: Updates are posted in each pets individual post on our Facebook page for Safe Haven Animal Rescue of AZ athttps://www.facebook.com/groups/1405138936478168/ . It will say the status in all caps at the very top of the pets post, and updates are posted in the comment section under each pets post. Once on the Facebook page, type the pets name in the search box to easily pull up all the posts on that pet. Q: I don't see a phone #. Will someone please call me? A: Everything needed is online. I have found that online is the most efficient way to get all the work done. In the past, when I posted my #, my phone rang off the hook all day. So I spent the whole day on the phone, with not much work to show for it at the end of the day. Again, everything needed is online. Q: How do I adopt this pet? A: Your first step is to fill out an application. http://www.adoptapet.com/Safe-Haven/adoption-application-cat Q: Can I adopt if I live out of state? A: Out of state adoptions are welcome. Additional fee applies. Fees are $195 for transport + the adoption fee. Fees are not due until transport has been confirmed. All transported cats come with a collar with ID attached, a carrier with padding, health certificate if required, bowls, and of course food for the trip. Plus all the other things listed above that regularly come with adoptions. Q: Where is this pet? A: This pet is being fostered in a private home. Q: I like what you are doing & would like to help. Would you be open to a partnership? A: Absolutely! I am open to anything that helps care for the animals &/or saves more lives! Please e-mail me at [email protected] and give me details about what you have in mind. Q: Can I spons
