About Bert

Beagle
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Charming Bert was rescued in Oklahoma as a stray shortly after Christmas. He appeared to have been caught and released from a leg hold trap and abandoned. He was taken to a local shelter, no one claimed him. The local shelter could not provide him with proper care for his wounds and was in an outdoor kennel. His rescuers decided to bring him back to Albuquerque with them and get him proper medical care and find a home fro him. He has integrated into their family (a German Shorthaired Pointer, 2 cats, and 2 guinea pigs) but unfortunately can't keep him as they feel they have enough to handle right now and they don't have a proper yard for him. It is not completely fenced. Bert is 5-6 years old. He is very gentle and fairly calm, good with all people, dogs and cats, and is an incorrigible lap hound. He is housebroken and sleeps well in his crate at night. He weighs 25 lbs and is a 15' beagle. Contact Trish at 505-907-3791 or email [email protected]
