About Ranger

Hello! My name is Ranger and I am a 1 year old Caramel/White Harlequin Dwarf Rabbit. I am very active and friendly bunny, and I've been trained to be a free roam (or at least live in an appropriate space while parents are away) bunny who lounges about my room very easily. I'm awake normally around 5 am and take a nap around 11 am and will wake up around 6 pm to sleep around 11 pm. I am very friendly and love to be pet and approached but I don't like being picked up for long periods of time. If you sit by me I will groom and rest by you if you're laying down on the ground or in a chair, I'm content with being left alone with a radio on if you're at work at a low volume and will love to greet you when your back. While you're getting ready for work, I'll follow you around to see what you are doing and lick your pants. I am a sweet and loving companion and will accept almost anyone for a friend; I would recommend that if you are bonding with another rabbit, please keep it with the same size as I gets intimidated by bigger animals and would prefer a female friend if your going to bond me. I'm looking for a new best friend between 8 Years and older (as long as they remember to be gentle) and be ready to love me for a time period of at least 5-8 years. Owners Notes: I saved Ranger from a kill shelter in downy as he was the only rabbit in the shelter at the time in December 2017. After being healed by an exotic vet for a small leg wound from his previous owner I attempted to bond Ranger with my two other Rabbits who rejected the bond. To ensure that Ranger remains happy and cared for I want to rehome him to a loving family/owner who will be able to give love to the to the bunny (I give full attention to my pets) however I have the others in one area, so he's separated in another room. I feel this would be a good thing for him and any potential adoptee as he is a very carefree and easygoing rabbit who will show you lots of love. Ranger is trained not to chew anything other then cardboard or willow/wicker/seagrass toys and will also stay away from cords and furniture. He will though take interest if you have a hole in your carpet. Will sleep with you on the bed if you set a 6-inch box for him to jump on, which brings up that he can jump at least 1-Foot high so if you don't want him to jump on anything just keep objects above 6-inches. He will run on carpet and hard surfaces but prefers to sleep on carpet or a soft fleece blanket (not too soft though) Please Text me first with an interest in adopting him in the listed number, as I am a private policeman and I may or may not be able to answer your call immediately. The fee is simply to prevent others from taking the rabbit and selling him for testing purposes or as for snake food. If you are new to rabbits I am more then willing to instruct you on how to care for a rabbit and allow you to meet him if you wish to see if he is compatible.
