Meet Goose: This sweet boy needs to find a home as his family is moving abroad and they do not want to subject him to the 6-month quarantine process. Please read below for his bio. - 10 Months Old - Crate Trained - Housebroken - Neutered - All of his shots are up to date with a full medical history from 8 weeks. - GREAT with all dogs. Submissive with most larger breeds. - Good with cats, curious but when warned to back off he understands. - Good on a leash after the excitement wares down. - Knows basic verbal and hand commands. - Would be okay in an apartment or condo with a small yard, but needs time at the park to run free. He will listen when you call for him and never runs too far. - Not an outside dog or security dog. He's very friendly and belongs at your feet. - A people-pleaser and will wait for commands unless distracted. Also very food motivated, but not required to listen to commands. - Sensitive stomach, we've narrowed his food down to 'Taste of the Wild/Salmon'. Anything else really gives him a hard time. - May be allergic to Lime/Lipto vaccinations. Not exactly required for the SoCal climate, so our vet suggested just skipping that vaccination in the future. Also, all vaccinations in the future will have to be administered in single doses. Doubling up on vaccinations caused him to go into anaphylactic shock when he was 4 months old. He had to be revived and watched overnight. Other than that scare, he is in excellent health. - He recently got taller and has figured out that jumping can get him even closer to you. We have been working on curbing that behavior. He listens when corrected but needs to be reminded from time to time. Typical puppy/adolescent stuff, he still thinks he's a baby and wants to be a lap dog. - Great on car rides, we've taken Goose on lots of family road trips to Oregon and NorCal. - A medium sized dog, approx 45-50 LBS, just tall. The vet thinks he is mostly done growing. Since he is a smaller sized shepard, this made it much easier for my wife to get a handle on training even when he is distracted on walks. - Comes with a full medical history, crate, a 40 LB bag of food, a leash, collar, microchip data, slow feeding food bowls, puppy pictures, mom and dad pictures, litter mates pictures, a handful of chew toys and treats.
